* Olley writes ?The Evening News? would like to tell its readers what are the Pet Aversions of a number of eminent people. Lord Roberts confessed that he hated cast; and everyone has an aversion; so that we are sure such a symposium as this would be read with sympathy as well as interest. Would you care to make your confession in a sentence or two (on the back of this typed sheet if you find that convenient)? Maeterlinck replies in French and misunderstands the English frase ?Pet Aversion?. In translation he states ?I don?t have a ?Pet Aversion?. I love all animals. ?J?aime tous le animaux. Celui pour lequel j?ai le moins de sympathie, c?est le chat. [?] j?ai trop souvent constaté qu?il massacre sans cesse.?
