Bruxelles: Edition du Clamen. 1901. Jean Dominique was the nom de plume of Marie Closset, a Bruxelles poet, who adopted a male name so that her work would be judged on its merits. She was associated with a non-conformist group called "The Peacocks" Limited edition with a total limitation of 355 copies. This appears to be one of the 5 copies on Japon, but is not numbered. cloth with attractive two colour decoration, leather and gilt label to the spine. Internally clean and tidy (but slightly darkened) on smooth glossy high quality paper. Illustrated throughout with lovely purple art nouveau designs and initial letters. 80 pages. 20cm x 17.5cm
